They got rid of pinning in Personal Brain?!! I'm shocked. That was one of the best features. As for getting TagImage to work in the PageTemplate tiddler there is a div corresponding to the TagImage macro. The syntax you use there is identical to what it would be in a template.
The geo view needs a bit of work. There is currently no way to add to the map directly from the map, but you can create tiddlers and add longitude and latitude coordinates to them. These will then be plotted on the map. I haven't quite worked out the best interface for this yet... so would be interested in any thoughts. I'm running out of mouse buttons here - maybe a right menu might be useful.. In other news I'm hoping for a 4th visualisation to be added soon. Watch this space..
