Thanks for the feedback... I like Pats "copyTiddlerAndSignPlugin" idea. At first I thought the idea of having to merge the various copies could be rather time- consumming...but I see TiddyTools has a CompareTiddlersPlugin that would be very useful...although I haven´t yet played with it.
I had thought of the situation where someone opens and gets updated and then delays a considerable time to do some work and finally ends up uploading stuff over some more recent work by someone else. I included a note that "if you have the system open for some time, refresh frequently"...a supplied a refresh button (that reactivates a LoadTiddlersPlugin). So that way we will probably only loose a little bit of someone elses work...not a lot!!!!! - Not a GREAT solution! Another thought....when someone opens up and updates...and then logs in, could the system send a tiddler, say with UserName and tagged "Im Busy"...so that the nest person who opens, while the other is still conected, gets a flashing message "The System is Occupied by UserName".....that could be done......the difficulty is in removing that tiddler when the original person one logs out!!!! (or the connection fails!!!!) I will keep playing with it...and get back to you all..
