Eric, I support where you are coming from. My quickStart (I am developing) will be similar to your own. I will add a little text and a list of the additional plugins so people can investigate them as they wish. It is my selection of the plugins that is the Intellectual content I am presenting.
I thought QuickStart was a good name, but perhaps TiddlyWiki QuickStart * Pre-Pack* fits what you and now I intend. I will be depending on each Plugins own documentation to explain themselves in detail. I will also be obliged to upgrade the core and test the Pre-Pack Regularly. On the documentation. Each Time I ask you and others Questions and get great answers I would be happy to update tiddlyWiki.org. It would be helpfull if there was some guidance on this procedure and confidence that others such as yourself will review my posting. This would give you a baseline document (tiddlyWiki.org) which you can overlay with your expertise to create your developer/superuser manual. Regards TonyM TonyM If you have not found an easy way to do it with TiddlyWiki, you have missed something. www.tiddlywiki.com On Mon, Aug 17, 2009 at 14:39, Eric Shulman <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Much as I admire Eric's dedication to helping others (including me), > > his post demonstrates precisely what the issue is. > > When you click on his link it tells you how to get started save a > > TW ...etc. Then you get to the customising bit e.g. > > "set styles (optional) > > If desired, edit the StyleSheet to suit your aesthetic sensibilities" > > but there are no instructions/information about how to edit the > > StyleSheet or simply what to do. > > TiddlyTools' basics.html QuickStart document is just that.... a quick > starting point.
