Excellent, the macro compiles now. I am seeing navigation confirmation
dialogs every time I hit a button, but I suspect this is entirely IE's
fault. I don't see them when viewing the file from Chrome (The only
other browser I have at my current client). If TW is stable on Chrome
these days I may just change my bookmark into an application shortcut
and be done with IE for editing my wiki.

I have a syntax question for you, though. I'm trying to embed a macro
button such as this into the itemTemplate of a tiddlerList, something
like this:
    <<tiddlerList tags:"task,-working,-testing,-complete,-archived"
order:"created" itemTemplate:"%link »\n">>

The link displays just fine, but I'd like to replace the "»" with the
addTag macro's button. Has anyone had any experience with embedding
calls to macros in the itemTemplate like this? I've tried a few
different forms of quoting the itemTemplate contents, but they all
make the display choke when viewing the tiddler. Is there a way to
"escape" text passed to a tiddlerList template?
