I don't know the equivalent Danish metaphor - The reason why I used it
is that I've heard it somewhere
I concieved it as meaning "the fundamentals" or the things that "hold
things together" -
I falsely interpreted nuts as knots - and this is very likely to
happen, because it is a word more commonly known/used by Danes
learning English - because it is very unique - whereas nuts - is a
more dangerous word with many possible meanings..

Yes you are right - It's been a while since Morris was on the group, -
he would most certainly have an Australian witt or french quote to
