LumpyMilk is a great blogspot - thanks for sharing! Btw - Danish has also the "crazy" expressions: "noses that run and feet that smell". I don't know the etymological explanation - but I know for certain that Danes believe that they are of old Danish origin... and not "loanwords" (if that is an English word?)...
