Tony, In my experience giving information like that without providing a mostly automated way to do it just leads to problems. Considering the amount of background knowledge and assistance that is required, even for someone as knowledgeable as you, to properly explain the host setting of a server and its purpose means that it would only lead to people using it incorrectly and flooding me with requests for help.
