Try gmail (or any equivalent ...if there realy is one)

Ever since I imported all my mail to it, I would not for one second
convert back to any software on my machine. For whoever needs it,
there's an offline mode for gmail via google gears.

Here's what makes Gmail most valuable for me:
* always accessible
* powerful searching
* nested labels
* collects my mail
* "active inbox" for gmail
* just as much interface as I would need

...though I am still hoping to see labeling consistently applied and
accessible throughout the google landscape, e.g. same labels for
bookmarks, mail, calendar, tasks, notes, etc...
