Hi Tony, I suggest you go back further, import and saving problems did not only start with Firefox 14+, try version 4 or perhaps 3.6.4.
It's not that those are from the eighties, it's just that Firefox undergoes some cray release cycles the outcome of which unfortunately hasn't been all too favourable for the TiddlyWiki community. My 5cts, I really don't see how a user is not allowed to use a browser without restrictions. If I don't care about certain security concerns (and am allowed not to care by the admin of my machine), I prefer a browser that allows me to not care, especially in the context of local files that I can trust... because, well, I created them.
