I think there should be an option to determine tiddler opening behavior.

I would like to be able to support these kinds of options. The current
behaviour is hard-wired into the navigator widget, which just needs to be
made a bit more configurable.

The option to suppress navigating to a newly opened tiddler by holding down
control/command while clicking the link is in 5.0.8.
