You should be able to open a new, empty TW5 and then drag-and-drop an existing TWC file, which will copy the tiddlers into the new file. However, while your content is "vanilla TW"... some of the basic wiki formatting syntax has changed, so there will still be a need to hand edit the content. Development of automated conversion tools/wizards is planned, but do not yet exist. > I applaud and appreciate the move to modernization and generalization. > But, I'm going to need to use what I have for the time being I'm afraid > since it's my 'daily bread'. > Many people have years "invested" in their existing Classic documents. Although TW5 will eventually support all the same functionality (and much more!), I expect that numerous Classic documents will still be in use for several more years to come. I look forward to trying it again when the stable release is out. > Keep experimenting and testing with the TW5 beta every once in a while... you might be able to find some problems or suggest feature improvements that would make your specific use case more effective. enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios YOUR DONATIONS ARE VERY IMPORTANT!
