Hi Rich > Using [[Link]] is a foreign concept for most people these days so heaven > forbid having to format all text, #heheh. >
I do not only think you are right, I remember my own very first steps into TiddlyWiki. I had a guide to help me out, but denied to do anything if quickedit was not preinstalled. Little by little I learned to do that myself, naturally having some problems the first time around with Monkey Pirate. No matter how often I was told that formatting was easily learned and really fast I did not really believe. It. Strange as many years ago I did at lot of strange formatting in the DOS era. Now we do have keyboard snippets, and Stephan Hradeks bookmarklets. I do not think we can talk of wrong audience. Today everyone is so accustomed to touch point and tap...more and more potential users will find it strange. Nevertheless it is part of the TiddlyWiki experience. There will always be a learning curve or TiddlyWiki will be big and slow. In a tutorial maybe you should stress the benefits from doing things this way, why it is worth learning.
