So I have a bad habit of crashing or doing things that crash TiddlyWiki.
I used TW Classic as an image browser for a few minutes until I crashed it
years ago as an example.

Right now I have about 250 images in my TW5 file and it is running well.
Typically LARGE files kill TW so I took a rather clean TW5 and added a
single large PDF file about 50MB.

Boom Goes the Dynamite and it crashed the browser.
Funny enough it did launch the PDF Viewer in the TW so presumably a smaller
PDF would have been fine.
I was not surprised by the crash and it led me to thinking about solutions.
Is there a way to have TW save files locally and link to the file for
[[Really Big Files]]?
You could set the file size limit somewhere in the TW.
That way you can't accidentally add a file that crashes your TW.

I know you can do a link to the [[Really Big File|file:BIGFILE.pdf]].
On my Windoze PC it links to files that are in the local folder using the
above example.

So what have you done by accident OR on purpose that broke TW?
How could you solve that break?

Thanks again everyone.
