I have started making these filters. The numeric versions are easy at least, I haven't started on the others yet. The numeric versions are shown off here <http://ooktech.com/jed/ExampleWikis/ExtraFilterOperators/>. I am going to use the convention that greater/less than is by default a numeric operator so instead of specifying numeric I am going to put a prefix on the alphanumeric version. Probably angreaterthan/anlessthan. This will be easy enough to change if someone has a better suggestion.
Also, is this something that would be useful enough to go into the core?
