I remain extremely doubtful and hence would be interested to see experiments. 
The approach seems to put more emphasis on the quality of our transliteration 
algorithms, and I can’t see how it could be adequately fuzzy for the job 
without also being fuzzy enough to lead to misleading behaviour.
