Apologies, I hadn’t appreciated the impact of the change; I have to rely on feedback from beta testers to smooth out the rough edges of things. (The new version of TiddlyFox has been available as a beta for about 3 months).

I submitted the add-on for approval on 21st February and had almost given up hope that it would be approved before the release of a version of Firefox that broke TiddlyFox. > I seem to be constantly telling the thing that I want to enable saving for > the wiki even though I haven't knowingly updated anything. TiddlyFox settings are stored using the Firefox extension standard storage API for preference storage. I guess that it probably does get cleared if you nuke things sufficiently powerfully; hard to see a way to avoid that other than to store preferences somewhere non-standard, which seems like extra work, and makes the Mozilla review process more complex.
