Hi Jeremy, Using the Firefox developer edition v54.0 (18-4-2017) with Linux Mint, I can confirm it does work with private browsing and with history diasbled.
I like the new icons (no local TW, TiddlyFox disabled and Tiddlyfox enabled) better than the old ones.
