where should I find that icon? I have never seen it. I remember that in
the past I got a popup window asking me to provide permissions to edit
and save the wiki. This happened every time I upgraded TW if I remember
well. I dont get that now.

I am on Firefox 53.0 32 bits on Linux Mint 17.3 with the latest
tiddlyfox. Tiddlywiki saves. Do you see the cat icon and have you
enabled it for your wiki?
