TRAFFIC. If the anticipated traffic is likely to be low (e.g. a couple of threads a week, rather than 5+ a day) Google Groups may be good enough. The essential issue with GG comes to this: simply scrolling down a list of the threads can you find what you need? If the volume is low its more likely you won't hit the "history problem" with not being able to find anything. For instance, the Groups for TWMobile <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/twmobileapp> & the recent Quine <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/quine-app> that's replacing it, works well enough because the traffic is LOW.
