I think this is on the documentation but, let me try to explain it clearer: Accessing the online version will "install" NoteSelf in your browser. Tiddlers are saved on your browser's storage. If you don't have mobile connection, then no problem, there are stored on your local database and synced when you come back online. You don't have a remote database configured ? No problem, tiddlers are saved on your local database and when you add a remote one then they are synced to it. NoteSelf is an offline first application, which means that it was built with offline functionality in mind, and it also works when it has connectivity.
