I'm not planning on spinning off a separate project so much as adding what I would like to have around NoteSelf. I expect working together would be the best way so long as what I do doesn't go against your goals. Also, I tend to be very slow at development as I have a busy life so I may only get a half day every couple of weeks to work on a project. I can read forums at work but to code requires free time.
