Hi, Tiddlyfox is slated to stop working altogether with Firefox 57 and they might be preparing you for that eventuality by disabling it. If you goto "about:addons" (type it in the address bar) do you see Tiddlyfox listed as running? (it should say 'legacy' but it might also be disabled by default).
