To use your expression, why get into combobulations for something that's not a problem yet?
Why would anyone expect documentation for something that (A) isn't a problem and (B) has no well-defined solutions? That doesn't mean the group shouldn't be thinking about it, of course. Once solutions are figured out, Jeremy won't have to worry about documentation (other than approving it). I'm sure one or more of us will step up to the plate.
