To expand a bit on this.... 1) Go to TiddlyWiki.com and scroll down to the "Getting Started" tiddler. 2) Press the "Download empty" button and save the "empty.html" file on your local system 3) Close TiddlyWiki.com 4) Go to TiddlySpot.com 5) Enter a "site ID" (any unique name/word you like, e.g, "mysite") and password 6) Press "create wiki" ... This will create an old-style "TiddlyWiki Classic" document online. In the next steps, you will be *replacing* that default document with a new "TiddlyWiki5" document 7) From your local system, open the "empty.html" TiddlyWiki5 document that you previously downloaded 8) Click the "gear" icon (upper right "sidebar" column, below the wiki title/subtitle) to display the $:/ControlPanel 9) In $:/ControlPanel, select the "saving" tab and the "TiddlySpot Saver" sub-tab 10) In the "Wiki Name" input, enter your TiddlySpot site ID from step 5 above (i.e., "mysite") 11) In the "Password" input, enter your TiddlySpot password 12) From the sidebar, click the "save" icon (circled checkmark) If all goes as expected, this will save the new TiddlyWiki5 document to your tiddlyspot location. 13) Close the local "empty.html" document 14) visit http://mysite.tiddlyspot.com (using the sitename you chose) That should do it. You can then use your shiny new TiddlySpot TiddlyWiki5 document online, and pressing the 'save changes' icon will update the online document.
