Hi Paul, TiddlyWiki5 and TiddlyWikiClassic don't need a web connection to save to the local filesystem and they never have!
Even if you modify classic.tiddlywiki.com and edit tiddlers, there is __no__ communication to the server. The whole thing is in your local browser memory. If you click the save button at tiddlywiki.com this local copy is "saved" to local filesystem. The default setting uses the same browser dialog, that is used for any other resouce you download from the web. The only difference is, that there is no communication back to the server. The server isn't needed. The easiest way to demonstrate this is. Load a wiki from the web. unconnect your PC and you can work the whole day with tiddlywiki. That's no problem. have fun! mario -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
