Hi Paul, You haven't mentioned what exactly your security limitations are. Can you access web sites? What browsers can you use? Can you install plugins? Can you use USB drives? Can you execute anything ?
To add to what PMario says, if you have a browser (at least Firefox or Chrome, not sure about ie) and launch a TW from a particular directory, you can save using the default save mechanism. The TW file will think it's in your original directory so you can still use relative paths to local images. BUT, the file will save wherever you have your download directory set. It will also ask you for a name each time, but you can turn that off in the advanced settings (Chrome). On Chrome, you can also get a plugin "Downloads Overwrite Existing Files" that will just create one downloaded file in your download directory instead of a series of TW files (mytw(1).html, mytw(2)... etc.). But of course, if you can use Chrome or firefox, then you can install savetiddlers and/or file-backups plugins and not have to worry about that. But I digress. So, if the starting location is important to you, whenever you start your TW session, you can just move your last saved version of the TW file from the download directory into your desired start directory and then launch from there. Then the rest of your session can be spent normally. It's only the start-up (or if you copy your TW file) that you have to be careful about.
