This was years ago, in the fairly early stages of TW5, only in my fuzzy memory banks. I don't remember if it was just you, or an amalgamation in my mind based on comments from you and others. Nor do I know if it was in a hangout or on this forum, or in an email. When you said whatever you said, it was with no negativity. You just wanted to emphasize / retain the nonlinear aspect of TiddlyWiki. But it had the effect of shooting down the idea of a left sidebar with a table of contents (a la TW classic) as a default feature in the empty TiddlyWiki. Sorry I can't be more specific than that.
