Hi Watt, When you say "Local Storage", do you mean you used the "Local Explorer" button? If so, please try again with "System Explorer". I'm not sure what the fate of the "Local Explorer" is at this time.
So far my test on an emulated Nexus 5X, Android 7, seems to work OK, though it did give some false stops/starts.
