Hi Mark, If you look at http://mptw.tiddlyspot.com/#TagglyTagging see the light grey small letters above the tagging .....now hover, and see even more. Try to click through the options and see all the possibilities right there for sorting, filtering and viewing slices and sliders.
I still think it made a lot of things easier for beginners to start using TW. Used by everyone because it was quick to do and start your wiki was easy. You might be right that we can do most of it, but not nearly as easy and beginner friendly.
