I'm running Firefox an a Vista 64 bit system with 4 GB of RAM. I loaded some TW pages as tabs and my system hung up. Task manager told me it was Firefox that had taken over 1.5 GB of resources. I closed and restarted the browser and opened the TW sites one at a time with Task Manager visible. Unfortunately, the culprit it TiddlyTools. I was able to watch the Firefox memory utilization slowly build up to the 1.5 GB number only when TiddlyTools was loaded.
I'm not a web browser guy. So was not even aware that a loaded page could capture so much resources. Has anyone else experienced this problem with T-Tools? Is there a work-around?
