Eric,

I'm running 32 bit Firefox.  (I did not know there is a 64 bit.)

The leak rate is fire hose like: approx 40 MB per second.  It happens
on the intro page.

I checked the XP compatibility mode in the firefox.exe Properties
dialog but that did not fix the problem.
