Has anyone explored creating a TiddlyWiki adaptation that could publish tiddlers to standalone HTML files and generate the support files (which are not binary), e.g. HLP, HHK, HHC, needed to compile the content to CHM? TagglyTagging has, as far as I can tell, enough structure to provide a framework of tags for an index in the CHM. Embedded or referenced images or other external content could be compiled in based on absolute or relative pathes.
TiddlyWiki is very information architecture -friendly. Any development efforts that would help TW integrate with other mainstream frameworks should only boost TW's market presence and value. Granted, CHM is old (not as old as HLP, though) but most technical writers and software developers who have had to produce help files in the last 15 years or so are familiar with CHM.
