However, if I try your code with any of the multiline ones, the linebreaks seem to break it [1]. Added you as a member to MarkDownTutor [2]. Have a look at the two private tiddlers FailTest and ShowDown, the former being a test tiddler, the latter the plugin containing your variation of the regex. Maybe it's really not worth pursuing this too much though as it does not seem to make a lot of sense to have inline markdown, as opposed to it being contained in a block. As for using §§§, I figured it looked nice in the sense of MarkDown's "it should look like what it means aproach" ...so far, I have not come across a usage of §§§ in TiddlyWiki land, so I thought it might be a nice wrapper. On the other hand, I have added instructions [3] on how to use a different formatter ...like the one you suggested in your example. Cheers, Tobias.
