I suggest adding the following text at the bottom of the tiddler [[How to 
use TiddlyWiki5 as a standalone HTML file]] found at 
http://five.tiddlywiki.com/ :

! Default Tiddlers

Note that the contents of the tiddler [[$:/DefaultTiddlers]] is a list of 
the tiddlers to show when the file is first opened. This is important for 
displaying a TableOfContents and/or some other starting information. You 
can find [[$:/DefaultTiddlers]] under Tools>More>System.

That way others will be able to figure this out quickly without needing to 
come to the google group.
