Awesome. So: 1. Create a new tiddler or clone an existing one with _canonical_uri field (Step 1 and 2 may change if "Add a new field" field gets a drop down) 2. Double click _canonical_uri and drag to "Add a new field" field 3. Delete existing _canonical_uri field if there is one 4. Clear text field if needed 5. Select all the text from the external file that I want searchable 6. Drag it into the edit text box 7. Hit compress button from Edit toolbar (Danielo reminds me that he is still one of my favorites for thinking of this, but the button is yet to be developed) 8. Drag address or favicon of external web site to the "field value" field 9. Hit add button 10. Edit the title 11. Add any other desired fields 12. Hit "Save this tiddler" button
TA DA! after alot of adding external files, I have a thousand+ external indexed files that are searchable, viewable, sandboxed, compressed, but still TW5 is fast Shakespeare wrote that 'brevity is the soul of wit.' My brain hurts so any help is appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
