Very impressive. Very useful proof. Though to make these may need the user 
to be more than a newbie I can already see that they could be used in a 
framework (global macros?/importable "pragma"?) where the user only needs 
to enter minimal "WikiText-like" code to achieve the effect. If that is so, 
ultimately, Mat & Tony's concern about user type #1 v type #2 should be 
minimal.

Enormously useful. Especially where you need to write documents that 
contain HTML that currently has to be manually entered. Supports good 
structure.

An example would be things written following academic style manuals for 
preparing texts where HTML like abbr, article, section, details etc are 
optimal.
