Marc, Please try the latest nightly build and let me know if those issues are resolved. It seems that the upstream ubuntu fltk sources had some patches applied that caused Pierre's patches not to apply cleanly. I've switched to building against the vanilla fltk 1.3.2 sources (with the TigerVNC-specific patches) and it appears to build as expected now.
