Software developers can't read minds. If you want a feature included,
either in TigerVNC or TurboVNC, then the best way to do that is to file
a feature request on SourceForge:

(TigerVNC)
https://sourceforge.net/p/tigervnc/feature-request-tracker/new/
(TurboVNC)
https://sourceforge.net/p/virtualgl/feature-requests/new/

Mentioning something on a mailing list is all well and good, but we're
human, and we tend to forget things.

I think too many people look at these projects and they say "well, it
doesn't do exactly what I need, so I'm going to use something else", but
they don't realize that open source developers aren't like big corporate
developers. We have a lot more flexibility (and generally, a lot more
desire and a lot more stake in the game) with regards to keeping our
users happy.

As far as the specific feature you're referring to, the Java viewer
(both TigerVNC's and TurboVNC's) already does that. It's probably not a
big deal to add it to the native viewers as well, but please file a
request so it doesn't get lost. Also, if you can confirm quantitatively
that TurboVNC is dropping connections more than another solution, then
file a bug report with us regarding that. Any more specific discussion
of TurboVNC doesn't belong on this list, though. I was mentioning it
only in a contextual sense.
