Sorry, I want to apologize for my previous mail. My 4 week old don didn't let 
me sleep a lot and I am a bit short-fused. i appreciate that you attempt to 
test my code and I am grateful for that. Perhaps I misinterpreted your 
statement too, it sounded kind of disrespectful to me, but then I am a 
non-native speaker.

Bear with me if I offended you. My statement still stands though, you shouldn't 
expect something to be 100% polished which hasn't even existed 2 weeks ago. And 
it is still not the main server for a reason.

On the issue of authentication, do you have a special char in your username 
like an @-sign or so? It should work theoretically, but I am not sure as I can 
only create so many test accounts on the OSM server...
