Pngnq 0.5-3 in Debian unstable fixes the bug in pngnq. It will
migrate to testing in 6 days. Then the problem will have resolved
itself for Debian users.

So I don't think there is a need to patch the [EMAIL PROTECTED] client.

IMHO it's better to have the process the easiest possible for end user,
if we want more and more user to render [EMAIL PROTECTED] tiles we need to
facilitate
their job. So the answer please wait 6 days it's not a good answer.

Don't know when Ubuntu will have the update.

We can wait but more and more Ubuntu's user will stop render tiles.

Our main goal is currently maintaining some sort of service.

We need responsible and capable users, not just anyone. Quality instead of quantity if you will.

I don't mean that any Ubuntu user is not "knowledgeable" enough to be a member, just that recruitment is on one of the last places of our to-do list.
