Excuse me for asking a non-hardware question, but I'd like to know the origins of the time 10:10 being shown on clocks and watches in advertisements for same.
The one that tipped me over the edge was the ad on the back of Science News for August 1, 2009. A talking watch says, "Ten-ten AM ..." as the hands show 10:10. How far back does that tradition go?
