Thanks Mark. This is very useful information.
There are couple dozen status messages that get requested (one each
second). To get an idea of what they are check the source file
heathgps.cpp Look for the routine request_misc_msg().
Very clever method!!
I will take a look at adapting gpsd to add some support for LH operation
or for a complete Linux port. Thanks for your help.
