I'm finally trying to get this epay 2100L time server to go. First

It appears to me (or it, depending on who you ask), that two
satellites are in view, to wit:

26 ? sig
09 0.0000000
04 17.6000004
10 0.0000000
15 0.0000000
01 0.0000000
07 0.0000000
28 0.0000000
02 9.8000002
27 ? sat
Auto 2-D Sats: 4 2

Above 6.0 is considered "good". But, the status command reveals it
is "freewheeling" --- clearly, since it is neither "tracking" or
"locking".

If I try and use the position command, I get this:

28 ? pos
GPS Engine Busy:2

I can query the GPS software edition:

14 ? gpsversion
Nav 8.8 4/1/0 Sig 10.16 4/1/0
You can give a position, but I don't believe it will lock it in -- it is a hint. Here's how mine behaves:

8 ? tim

9 ? sig

Invalid Command

10 ? gps

11 ? sig

12 6.8000002

02 -1.0000000

29 1.6000000

30 5.1999998

15 0.0000000

05 1.8

10 4.4000001

21 5.4000001

12 ? sat

Auto 3-D Sats: 12 30 10 21
13 ? pos

lat: 37.2678299 lon: -121.9767228 alt: 62.6665573

14 ? gpsversion

Nav 8.8 4/1/0 Sig 10.16 4/1/0

15 ? vers

What version is your software?
