The answer is simple and elegant, if I do say so myself:
Connect a small (or even better a large) eggsplosive charge to the chicken with
a breakwire across the eggsit hole. Chicken lays egg. Look for
feathers/crater/red splatter/mushroom cloud...
There are few problems that the suitable application of high eggsploves can't
cure...
