Gents,
There have been a number of posts regarding oscillators and designing them. A
very useful reference could be COMMUNICATION RECEIVERS: Principles and Design
by Ulrich Rhode and T.T. Bucher.
They devote a complete chapter to frequency control and local oscillators.
It’s kind of hard to find and expensive even used but if one understands that
math (and I don’t) it may provide the answers one is looking for.
