I still think Symmetricom should get these out to Time-nuts for the cost of shipping and handling. They could gain valuable experience from this list. :-) As to the cmos square wave, thats really the most reasonable issue to solve. Low pass filter gain 10 mc xtal more gain.... Or lock a 10 MC sine osc to it. Suspect there are many ways that reasonably deal with it. When they ship several units to me for testing I will get right on that project. I just hope I can still solder at that date.
XXX curious about the method of suspension in the cell. Might the laser light bouncing around ultimately deteriorate the stuff causing it to fail?
