You could. But its funny I have been reading over the last year or so thats its actually not simply attaching a resistor and diode to charge the super cap effectively. Yes it will charge but to what effective level. Give it a try if it works it works hopefully well enough. Me I just need to find that pin and connect a disposable battery.
