I'm puzzled why you would want to consider using a chip for a purpose it was clearly never designed, and has almost zero hope of working.

An amplifier is supposed to faithfully reproduce the signal, with minimal distortion.

A prescaler is supposed to totally change the frequency.

I'd be interested to know what makes you think its even worth considering.
