I got the Collins paper through my public library via an inter-library
loan. Give them the publication, date, page numbers, and title. I
think it cost me $5.

Same here. Does anyone know of an alternative source for that paper by Oliver
Collins? I was trying to make sense of Bruce's generalization of the hard
limiter, but found that to be a bit tricky without original paper...

Thanks Magnus!
I have no access to IEEE papers.
I read Bruce' pages already.

Oh, do read the Oliver Collins "The Design of Low Jitter Hard Limiters"

Toss in this paper:

Bruce has been studying this a bit more than me:

Bruce has taken the basic analysis from Collins and adapated it to a more
reasonable situation where you change op-amps from low-noise/low-bandwidth
op-amps to somewhat higher noise but much higher bandwidth op-amps.
