Ah.. the venerable 709.. As a kid fooling around with opamps in the
early 70s, I was SO happy when they came out with the 741 and didn't
have to deal with compensation. Finally, circuits that weren't
oscillators!
I only heard of the 709 and saw some... I already started with the 741
in the early 80s :) (both discovering our ages...)
